Default Pembina/NSR Report

Was out at the pembina yesterday and in about 5 hours 2 of us c&r 12 walleye, 3 pike and 2 goldeye. tonight fished the NSR and caugght a big mooneye. He was close to 12" and he hit a 1/2 oz gibbs spoon that was about 4" long!! I couldn't believe it. has anyone been catching sauger at the NSR?

the sauger like the faster currents check near bridge pillings and main river channels caught a 5 pounder a few years ago in the fort but didnt have a camera... could have been a record

Default sauger

thanks for the info. I have caught a few but they have been scattered in amongst the walleye---some have been the saugeyes.they had dark stripes and spots but still a small white tip.
