Post when scoring deer...

I've been scoring a few deer with the B&C 1999 score sheet and have no clue how to get the spread credit. Can someone tell me how? Is it the same with mules?

This is the sheet I used http://www.boone-crockett.org/pdf/wttpsc.pdf

Thanks Bassett

The widest part inside the main beams, Must be straight parallel, for both whitetails and mulies

if the inside spread is longer then either mainbeams, then the longest of the mainbeams will be used for the spread credit. If not then the length of inside spread is the spread credit

Measure the inside spread of the main beams and write it down in the appropriate box. Then measure both of the main beam lengths. The spread credit is number that you got for inside spread of the main beams unless the longest main beam is a smaller number than the inside spread. If that is the case then you enter the longest main beam measurement in the spread credit box.

Keep in mind that the final score that you get using that link is the Net score (Gross score - deductions).
