Default Peep creeps....

The peep on my bow creeps up the string after a few shots, I re-tied it but it still rides up Used some serving from an old string, followed directions on y-tube, wth.

Might want to try some new waxed serving string? Also, might want to get in touch with someone in your local erea, maybe the video sucked? Might be the easiest to stop by your local bow shop, would only take them a second to look after it for you. Just curious though, what kind of bow?

Is this a peep with tubing? If there's tubing involved, it might be too short. Also the knots have to be tight or enough of them that they can't move without a lot of effort.

did you tie the actual peep in or just above and below the peep? New serving might be worth a try.

Lots of people have good success using dental floss for peeps

Dental floss is the #9 wire of bowhunters it's handy as heck. I was told to use unwaxed since it will hold it's knots better and won't slide as easily.

Default peep

Martin bengal bow, peep was installed by bow shop. tubing on peep broke, lost about an inch,I just tied the tubing back on, knot on top of peep came loose , removed it and tied new knot, is it possibe that the shortening of the tubing is pulling on the peep ?

if the knot is tied to high up on the cables it will cause the peep to be pulled up when you draw also

Trav makes a good point, I don't fiddle with tubing very much anymore so I forget the subtle stuff.

Personally, I just use a TRU BALL nock aligner that weighs the same as a regular nock. Since I use a loop, I just put it on upside down and the peep will line up right every time. I like it better since there's no tubing to screw things up. OR I could be like Travis and quit being so cheap and buy the pliers for tightening loops.
