Default Chiappa

What is the word on the Chiappa M6 shotgun/rifle ?
Has anyone got on that they have put significant rounds thru ?
I just won a 20ga/ 22 mag and am wondering if I should keep or move it, possibly exchange at place of purchase..

Is "Chiappa" some kind of swear, in that no one can reply. I'm sure I don't have the only one...

They are absolute crap Doug, trust me, not that I've ever owned one. Being the good buddy that I am, I'm willing to take it off your hands so you don't risk hurting yourself or others with it. I'll PM the address you can mail it to, I'll even split shipping with you.

Nice to hear from you TC.
If I read you right, am I correct in assuming that the operative words here are
" willing to take it off your hands". That was almost over my head.
However, being as bad as you say they "might" be, I know of a local gunsmith who might be able to restore this piece.. Your thoughts ???

OK, so you say you won this, I'm assuming it's new, and the chiappa actually has an ok reputation. Not sure why a gunsmith would need to fix a new gun. Reading on the Badger (is that the one you have?) here:

https://www.gunsweek.com/en/rifles/n...-rifle-caliber

Looks like a nice shotgun for a stroll in the woods after chickens to me. I'd keep it and try it out myself, then if it's not your thing move it along to the buy and sell. Since you won it, it's a win either way for you.

Hey TC, Just got back from the trapline and thought I would check in. To clear things, it is the M6, I have, not the Badger. The M6 is a breakdown model, a knockoff of the US military survival gun, that was .22LR and .410. What I have is 20 ga. up top and .22mag downstairs.
For what it's worth and why wouldn't one believe it, I googled the Chiappa on
U TUBE and some of the response were not favourable. This is why I was wanting some straightup answers before even putting a round thru it as I'm sure the store it come from would at least give me an instore credit....for me to spend on other item I most definitely need..ha
Keep in mind, I would be open to serious offers or trades.....
However...no gopher guns..
