Default Alberta Wilderness Association

I see the Alberta Wilderness Assosciation is on a push to protect more grizzly habitat. They are trying to get the government to close more roads to keep people out of grizzly areas. Myself judging from the grizzlies I have been running into this year some on the quad and I would not have been there without a quad I think the bears are doing just fine. If as another thread says Montana is trying to take the grizzly off of the protected list to better manage them then perhaps Alberta should do the same. I have noticed different bear behavior in the Kananaskis lakes and highwood pass area where bears keep on coming when you see them and the bears located close to the B.C. border in the Crowsnest Pass. All of the bears I have seen in the Pass area take off when they see you. I wonder if that is related to the fact that the bears on the B.C. side are still hunted and have a fear of man.
