Taking $20 out of your back pocket and giving you back $2. Some people are gullible.

Awesome.
I paid over $10,000 in carbon tax this year and get back $386.
By my math, I gave you that money, along with at least 23 other families, theirs.
You're ****ing welcome.

Simpletons...

lol I am looking at a climate action incentive payment cheque from oct 13 2023 on my desk for $386. nothing new in that article, just more bait for the dummies out there. I don't even know why I get these cheques but I will cash them as it's a small fraction of what I am taxed.

Just a shell game for the gullible. The effective tax rate on Canadians is ludicrous at this point, and the squeeze just keeps getting worse. Clean Fuel Surcharge, increase in carbon tax, booze tax, property taxes, jiggering income tax brackets and increasing rates, increase in CPP and payroll taxes, but hey! Here's $300 bucks back, suckers.

There were these guys once, who started a revolutionary war for a 3 cents a pound tax on their tea...

Basic math skills are required

Unfortunately, basic math skills are a super-power....kinda like common sense.

You do realize common sense is based on one’s perspective therefore it’s all over the map and changes like a fart in the wind.

Off to order more lures now….

Only the truly naive believe that they are actually gaining anything from this. The liberals are just giving back a small fraction of what they stole from us via the carbon tax scam.

Yep,

“According to the independent, non-partisan parliamentary budget officer, most Canadians paying the federal carbon tax receive less in rebates than they pay in carbon taxes.”

Too bad Trudeau’s paid media only regurgitates liberal talking points.

Yet some people are so gullible, that they believe those liberal talking points. The existence of this thread is proof of that.

This thread exists because the OP just ran down to the store because his treble hook collection is getting low. Caught a few on this one.

Blackface: “Hey, uh, I need $100 for a climate thing”

Us: well if I really don’t have a choice, here’s $100 I guess”.

Blackface: “Cool, uh, here’s $5 back”.

Gullible people: “AWESOME, WOW, gee willikers, thanks Mr., I’m going to go buy a widget”

Most people can & do see through this scam.

Default CT

I just picked up my NG bill for December and payed $62.61 carbon tax on a $184.98 total bill and that was a really warm month. I can only guess what January will be with this cold snap! That's also not including all the other CT a person pays monthly so 'm at a deficit for my contribution to the CT too. Thanks Turdo! But some people really do believe they are money ahead.

So how do I go about getting some of this “FREE” money? I don’t think I’ve ever got any kind of carbon rebate.

We do the things that Trudeau would be the most opposed of with it. We just supported a local beef producer and bought 1/2 of one of those evil methane producing cows. We also plan on buying plane tickets to Holland with it next year just so we can produce the most carbon possible!!

They call it " Climate Action Incentive Payment " the 1st quarter installment for 2024 was deposited in my account today $289.50 I think I'll book a vacation somewhere, that should get me enough fuel to make it to Edmonton airport and back home and maybe lunch in Vegreville on the way through

The only lure on this thread is you ,the libs have you hooked well. Hook, line and sinker . Maybe next year enough for a free boat

Price of diesel is costing you and all of us big time . With any luck a school of liberal trout will swim by an steal your whole rod, reel ,shack.

Many truckers are losing there shack , there rig and there integrity they work hard for in supporting there families ,just so lucky old you can by lures .

They can stick there cheque you no where .
