I had read about how they do that but seeing it makes it a lot easier to understand.

The steamer was a nice touch too. There used to be a steamer that ran the Peace River from BC to Hay River. It ended service before I was old enough to remember it, but I'm told I rode on it when I was a baby.

Absolutely LOVE old shows like that. Just listening to what would be a "comparable" show these days and you can see it's a lost art. Thanks for posting!

Wow, and I thought us trappers did all the heavy lifting to get fur pelts to the final coat. What really impressed me is how mink were cut into narrow one inch strips then sewed back together.
