Default Bears hibernating?

Has anyone seen any bears lately? My baits have gone completely dry and haven't been able to glass up any in the west country. It seems early for them to be shacked up.

They blacks usually do not go into hibernation until we get a cold spell and heavy snow. Male grizz usually stay out most of November then come out for a few days all winter when weather warms up.
Thats what tracks on trapline usually shows each fall and winter.

I have always found bear activity slows in late October. They are still around but just not near as active

I've seen black bears out in the middle of Nov @ -15 yet, once the snow cover comes they mostly head into hibernation but not always

Curious about farmland blackies. No different from the bush bears I assume, foods gone, go to sleep?

At a friend's farm/rec property N of St Paul we have a resident boar and this year the mama has 3 cubs that we see on cams. Pretty sure they go down around now as we never see one in Nov when sitting in the deer blind.

Any tips from you guys to get them coming back to the bait? I have started putting some meat out with no luck.
