Default Stay out of the creeks with your jeeps

From the looks of those off roading videos on that youtube page you don't like the spawning habitat where those big boys like to spawn. If you want to be catching more of those big bulls stay out of the creeks with your monster trucks. Only common sense that all the siltation upstream of where these fish spawn kills eggs and smoothers them to die a slow death. I hope you off roaders think about that every time you cross that creek 12 times to turn around and do it all over again. You are only hurting yourselves in the end.

Nothing personal but I call it like I see it.

thanks everybody,
Did u watch any of the videos... Those are mud holes on desinated trails and private land compations, No creeks or rivers if we come to one of the two staight across, idle on marked crossings. I work with srd marking trails for qauds and offroad machines. Part of 4 clubs that restore trails, make bridges, and trail clean ups..... not all offroaders are dicks

I looked for the videos of the rivers gettin torn up and only found mud holes and meadows.

Maybe Clouserminnow could post the link to the video which has "12 river crossings".

Nice bull btw.

Default Trails and trout

Not pointing fingers at one particular video but all of those "meadows" and "mudholes "drain into larger streams and flow into rivers. The Falls Creek Trail which is designated and endorsed has too many crossings and will be flowing brown on a sunny day in the middle of spawning season. Don't tell me you have never been through that circut I know you wouldn't video the aftermath of that. Even crossed at a 90 that is more than the trout can take. Glad some of the trails get repaired but there are hundreds in bad shape and nobody is doing nothing about them. Long weekend crowd was racing up the channel on the North Ram last weekend below trunk road it was flowing chocolate milk and un-fishable. The west country is not open for that kind of behavior. I guess aslong as everybody is having fun it is legit........Whatever!

Yep i total agree, falls creek is bad. Falls creek has been closed for a year or more now theres a sign on the bridge, Where the main entrance is to the trail that gets ripped done by people all the time. Right now we are working on a trail system in that area... bridges, gps the trails, marked and ect.
Can,t fix everything, all the repairs are out of are pockets and have to jump through hoops just to be able to fix a trail. its just like anything theres always people that dont care, or just dont understand. There is a bunch of projects coming up that are goin to change the west country.
