I just moved back to Alberta from a several stint in Texas. This will be the first season hunting back in Alberta. My father and I are going for elk in the rut this year.
Normally we would process our own meat at the house if it was in the late fall or winter. The issue we are running into is with a rut hunt we will not be able to hang and age the meat as it will be too warm outside.
Does anyone have recommendations for meat processors in the Red Deer to Calgary area?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Also any suggestions of taxidermists would also be greatly appreciated.
