Thanks for the complements,
Vizsla,
I have a few hidden places that I haven't even got to try yet this year haha.
Looks like a nice shoot, hope one of mine goes that well soon. Heading out all weekend for some good upland and geese, hope it goes well.

Here is a picture from the other evening, rooster holding tight on a single sharptail.

Been a while since I posted pics, but here are a few from this Fall.

Kiva retrieving her first pheasant on opening day, a young wild bird.

More of Kiva and her first pheasant.

I took Kiva's bird with my Grandfather's old Champion Model 36 that I inherited when he died 30 years ago.

From Thursday, we took 2 pheasants and 2 huns. Kiva had some great points.

Default Ruffies...

Spent the day yesterday exploring some new country, and managed to get in on some of the great grouse action people keep talking about. This was me and the dogs second time out for upland. Managed a couple of rabbits in the morning, and this limit of ruffies in the afternoon.

Rabbit and Hare are "upland" IMO, Joshcat.

Kiva hunted for MigrantHunter and I this morning. We ended up with 3 wild roosters and a couple Huns. Due to the freezing rain I waited until I got home to take some pics.

And because the Waterfowl Pics thread has fallen to some long lost page...

Kiva retrieving a duck in -8C plus windchill:

The result of 3 icy water retrieves is:

Put Kiva up after a limit of ducks, and took Parker out to see if we could find a Christmas Snow Goose. We did. Although slightly warmer (-6C) Parker made an impressive retrieve from deep, cold water with decent waves.

The Christmas Snow Goose:

Pudel... great pictures. Be sure to send Bob some of your field photos. My two year old male looks ALOT like Kiva. He is a First Offence X Partygirl pup.

I saw Bob in MT at Kiva's test. I sent him a pile of pics the other day.

Are you hunting down this way at all?
