I would have never guessed that.

Maybe if you were far enough south, with solar panels it would be worth it? But then you could use solar collectors for heating water too.

People who believe in geothermal have been sold a bill of goods, another scam. Laws of thermodynamics make it impossible in our area of the country, without using expensive electrical energy, which negates the whole concept.

The new owners are asking people what they think should be done with the house. They are running threads on Facebook looking for ideas.
