I herd it was closed last year for bear baiting...
Regs say it's open...
Anyone know different ?

Everything north of the athabasca river is closed for baiting.

too many colour fase bears with long claws and high shoulders getting shot at the baits is what we have too thank for another baiting area being shutdown.

It's in the regulations from 2015. Look under "Important Changes for 2015" on page 12

I just talked to fish and wildlife and they confirmed that's it's closed north of the river thanks
