Default Alex Muirhead - Advanced Taxidermy Rest in Peace

Saw a video on the news saying he recently passed away. They are sorting through all his work and trying to contact people to come and get their unfinished mounts. The fish mount he did for me a few years ago turned out great! In any event, rest in peace and my condolences to the family!

Alex was a different character and a great guy, he did amazing work, sometimes took forever but he was an artist. He will be missed.

Alex had his troubles in life. More than a few of them over the years.

Seemed he straightened out over the last years, but he did take his work to heart when his head was in the game. When it was not ...

All the same may he find peace and forgiveness.

He did a very good 175 class non typical whitetail for me. It still looks good after all this time.
