Default First pontoon float down bow

When do you think it will be safe to? Anyone planning to soon?

I'd think right now is as good a time as any and safer then June/July when runoff is raging?
I've seen a few toons and lotsa drift boats for several weeks already.

You're good to go.

Only problem will be keeping your feet warm while floating the whole day. I like to fish while floating and in order to do that you need fis and feet in the water.

No matter how many socks you wear, all day in that cold water will make your feet cold.

Got out today from glenmore to fish creek. Dropped in at 11 ish and pulled out at 3. Some stretches were nice some were pretty cold with that wind. There was virtually no ice on the banks on that stretch. Nice to take the pontoon out on its maiden voyage. Can't wait till the weather warms up
