Nice work David. I'll have to make my way down there sometime this winter.

It sure felt cold this morning with the mild breeze we had. I had a 1/2" crack shoot off under my flip shelter while I was setting up in the dark. I just smiled. Now we're making ice.

My morning was productive as well. About 10 minutes after you started fishing, I landed an 8 pounder. This one was 8.15 lbs. Had to set the camera up in the shelter to get the best shot I could with the lens fogging up and the iPhone threatening to shut off in the cold. All was done by 10:30. But instead of going to a second lake as I normally do, I had to head back in to town to test fit the canopy the sheet metal fabricators are making for my Ranger. Back out to a different lake tomorrow. Cheers.

P.S. No matter what I do this photo posts upside down.

Here's another 8 pounder (7.95lbs) out of the exact same hole two weeks ago to make up for the upside down photo.

Looks like a productive day on the hard water. Hoping to get out tomorrow, cold temperatures and no snow the ice will be growing fast now.
