Gull Lake for Monday evening report

Was out at Gull last night for a few hours and the fishing wasn't too bad. Seemed like the fish were in closer to 12 fow. With that said, the trip did prove to me there are some big pike in Gull. I have to get better equipped to deal with them as it cost me what would have been my best pike to date (in around that 17 to 20 pound mark). Net and line both were too small as I would have got the head into the net if I was lucky. Disappointing in one sense but exciting in another.
