Default Fishing Peers to Shining bank lake area

Heading up to the Macleod river for the annual Thanksgiving weekend at the in-laws cabin. Normally I bring my raft up and float the Macleod and fish for the walleye (have been stubborn and done it with the fly rod with some success) but would like to explore somewhere close that I might be able to get into some grayling.

If someone is in the area, I would have a day to get together for a fish. We can float the Macleod river that day (16 year old fishing partner is having his wisdom teeth pulled two days prior and already has said he wants to sit around the cabin and read to recuperate so will be fishing solo) shoot me a pm if interested.

Not much for grayling around there. Try north of whitecourt on the Freeman.
