Default daylight savings time referendum?

I have done some research and understand the question being asked. and i will vote no to year round savings time.

Can anyone tell why year round standard time year round is not an option.

Because the sun will rise at 0352 at LLoydminster AB on 21 Jun. Twilight would come sometime around 0252. That right there is the best reason.
