Default Gull Report for 25th

Was out at Gull yesterday and have the sunburn to prove it... With that said, once we figured out the colour combination the fishing was decent - as in catch rate of one every 10 to 15 minutes (pike). Colour seemed to be blue and silver. The wife was using a RattleTrap and I ran a tipped blue fox big spoon (both same colour combination). I'm pretty convinced that if you fish that lake anywhere near weeds you can catch pike. I'm still trying to get into some of the bigger ones that I know are in there but its always quantity versus quality with the other half favouring having some fun with quantity.

Word of advise though, if you catch a fish, and your reel fails on you, hand-balming it in, although seeming like a good idea, is flawed.
