Default My First Antelope!!

Not much of a story. I hunted hard on opening day with no luck. I saw a lot, but just couldn't close the distance. I had to work the rest of the week until today which is the last day. I showed up to my spot just as legal shooting time clicked over...and a herd of Antelope were on the road in front of me. I got close then jumped out...went along the ditch and popped up and got a 100 yard shot. My hunt was over in just minutes. I'm happy with him and next time i'll look for the monsters I was seeing out there.

Congrats. That is a nice looking first antelope.
How many others was he with?
What did you shot him with?

I saw over 50 antelope today including mine. They were all over the place! I saw at least 8 bucks my size just today...and many does.

I'm using a .300 win mag, Sako. I love it for everything I chase!

I put in for 5 years but I think it only takes 4 years in this zone.

"stink-a-lope","turbogoat" I thought I had heard all the slang names people call pronghorn.

Congradulations on your buck. I don't mind a little blood in a field pic but I think your pics have a little much. Sunrise on the prairies and hunting antelope, doesn't get much better does it.
