Default Guided Elk Hunts

Hey everyone. I am in the market for a guided elk hunt in the fall of 2012. I would like any and all feedback to assist me in my search. Sorry, I will add some more info, It will be in Southern Alberta with two Alberta residents, so an area with general tags is a must and two American"s.

Thanks!!

how much have you got to spend. if money is no object, a landowner tag in utah would be my pick for sure, followed closely by one of the indian reserves in arizona or new mexico. that is assuming of course you are ok with paid hunting somewhere else.

I'd be looking at a Wyoming hunt. Would be more reasonable then the hunts bambi listed. But if money grows on trees at your place. Definetly AZ or UT, a hunt on the Jicarilla in NM would be my dream hunt.

I would suggest talking to Rick at Guinn Outfitters. They hunt west of Calgary and pull out nice bulls yearly. I believe they are also the longest running outfitters in Alberta ( pretty sure, but dont quote me on it) If you want his contact number just pm me.

After what I witnessed and recorded on video by guides working for this outfitter, I have to suggest people look elsewhere. No more details for now, it is in F&W hands....

I hear their mountain hunts are well done. But their techniques in the foothill hunts may include you in culpable activities.
