Old Fire Arms
I have some old family hierloom firearms. Frankly I dont know what to do with them. I dont know if they even shoot. I dont think it would be right to throw them away, but I dont know if they have any value. (meaning turn them in for disposal). Ill tell you what they are and Ill post some pictures. If you guys have any idea if they are worth keeping then please share your knowledge.
The first was one of my favorites to shoot when I was a kid. Its a pump action .22 LR from Winchester. My dad got it when he was a little kid so I know its pretty old.
There is also a Cooey Model 84 12 Gauge shot gun
CIL 607 12 gauge pump
There is also a some kind of break action 22 single shot. I know nothing about this one. My guess its a cooey.
There is also a Winchester lever action 9422. This one works for sure.

Definitely do not give them away ,
I see no reason why they will not work
I have a Cooey shotgun like yours and it still works great , it’s pretty light and does kick a bit tho , worth $200.00
The Winchester 22 lever seen some go for $1000.00
The first Winchester looks like fine guessing model 1890 or 61
Hope fully somebody will check in with way better knowledge than me
Please don’t give them to the police , at least sell them on here or on Canadian gun nuts
So people can enjoy them instead of having them destroyed

All good especially 9422.
Are you joking about turning in?

Certainly Dont want to
I certainly dont want to. I would much rather sell them but I dont want to rip anyone off if they arent functional or have any value. Do people buy them for parts? I know the lever 22 works and works well, but not sure about the rest. Old guns just arent my thing.
So what do you do with old guns? I cant just throw them in the garbage.

That 22 single is a Deutsch Werke boys rifle. They were made in Germany prior to 1939.
All those guns will sell easily. Don’t turn them in! For pricing- look them up on Gunpost and sell for 10-15 % less than others are asking.

Thanks
Thanks guys you really helped. Seems like some of these have value. I will post here on the buy/sell first and give the folks on the forum "first shot" at buying these classics.
I am really surprised that little single shot is german. Kinda cool though.

I would cut them up in little pieces before I would give them to the police . Chances are they will just resell or keep them.
I think a auction reflects real value of things.
Have an online auction on this forum. Either in thisthread or classified section of this forum.
I will start. I offer you $500cash for 9422. I suspect its worth double that.

Cool Idea
I like your idea of an auction portion of the forum. I am unwilling to sell that lever action for $500.00 as I know its fully functional. I appreciate the offer though.
