Prepped a 100 22-250 brass and loaded with varget and 50 gr Vmax. Every time I use the V4 auto trickler it puts a smile on my face.

Decapped and cleaned pockets on 60pcs 6.5cm Herter's brass, to be loaded with RL16, H4350 and 125gr Partitions to see how they shoot in a T3X. Do the sizing & trimming, priming, later this afternoon seeing as it is cooler downstairs.

Also have to load some ladders for 30R Blaser with 185gr RWS Evo's and RL26, May do some with RL17 & RL22 as well. Fortunately, I sized and primed a whack of brass for that a while back. Seems odd, as the newer data I have for it, only shows adequate max velocities attained with those powders, and no other brands would get there. We'll see. Their data showed RL19 not making it, struck me as odd too. Why 16 & 17 & 22 would barely achieve factory speed, 19 & 23,25 doesn't, and 26 beats all, but not by much, seems illogical. All the Hodgdon & Vihta stuff isn't within 100-150fps, apparently. Norma gets sorta close with MRP & URP, but, I don't have any Norma, or RL23 or 25. Such are the vagaries of powders and the guns they use for data.

Found a box of ladders for 7-08 w/140 Accubonds I haven't checked out yet, for the Ruger #1. I ran a bunch of pressure checks on it at 25 yds when still in Cgy, then ran some loads at 100 last summer, discovered either a ring or base issue with elevation bottoming out at 100? Grouped OK, so, not really suspecting scope. Stuck some shimstock under the back ring, see what that does for it. New Z3 2-10x42 on it, everything tracked properly. I have heard of Ruger base being wonky on a #1, maybe I got one. Another one of life's little mysteries to solve.

Sorted through a bunch of old. 223 brass that I use for initial zeroing on steel when changing distances from 300 out to 900, and sized and primed 50.

Installed a couple of Victor Titan Grippy universal cheek rests yesterday, one on a T3X, one on my CZ457. Makes a heck of a difference when you don't have to struggle with the black tunnel to line up a scope. They are plastic, have to drill two holes for holddown screws, they have spacers to shim to height with, easy to install. https://victorcompanyusa.com/universal-cheekrest-kits

Been busy the last 2 days. Cleaned up the reloading bench first. Loaded some 7-08, 120 TTSX for my daughters one rifle, did 50 6.5 WSM (Leopard) with 140 Bergers for our moose hunt this fall. Also loaded some 168TTSX for my other daughters 308. Did some 120 GMX for 260AI, and some 95 gr Nosler BT for my late fathers 243. Going to use it for deer this year.

Loaded another 140 6mm Dasher rounds and seated with new K&M Arbor press and Wilson in-line die. Don't think will be using Whidden seating die much anymore.

Default Made 50 Rounds of some 22 Creedmoor

Made 50 Rounds of 75gr Eldm 22 Creedmoor. The Alpha Munitions brass is nice to work with. I really like the fact it comes with a plastic ammo box.

Default Carbon Ring Gone

Cleaned up the carbon ring in my precision Savage 243, then wipeout til it came clean, oil and back in the case. Also annealed 100 brass with my Gung Joe annealer after I tumbled them. Waiting for repaired die to come back from Lee hopefully in the mail in the next day or two so I can load another 100.

Finally got to shoot my ladders. Rebuilt a couple more and got myself into a good rhythm. Got my 7mm, my sons 7mm and a 270 dialed in as far as SD thanks to markg!!

Finalized the loads for the 7mm's and built enough for the season. Still need to work on the 270. Just not cooperating. Didn't like 150gr bullets so trying to find a 140gr that it shoots well.

Tried to get the seating depths all together but ran out of daylight! My neighbors i'm sure were on their chat group about me and all the shooting....

Was playing with a new Dremel electric screwdriver a couple of days ago, tried it on the trimmers and neck tool, works pretty good. Because I was kinda playing with seeing how it handled what, tried neck turning some of the Herter's 6.5 brass I had, that wasn't real pretty. Took them to .013, some had some pretty big low spots on them, most had low spots near the mouth, out of 50, I'd say maybe 5 cleaned up good. Guess that's what you get with cheap brass.

A friend came over and we loaded 100 308's for his M70 Match rifle , and I fussed over my hunting rifle ammo a bit, shot 4 rounds out of it yesterday so reloaded them. Then took a look at a really nice hunting rifle that was not QC'd properly before it left a shop and would not feed the rounds . I was amazed to say the least and told him to send it back instead of getting someone else to fix the problem .
If the outfit isn't aware of their mistake, they can't remedy it, and being a custom rifle it is on them . Just my opinion
