Default 6.5-348 Winchester

Does any body know if anyone has necked the 348 Winchester to .264"? Im thinking this could make a nice longrange coyote/deer cartridge for a highwall or No1

P.O. Ackley did it many years ago, and he went further by turning down the rim and cutting a groove in it, effectibly making it the first 6.5WSM - without the heavier case, mind you!
it's described in his first book on wildcats.

Didn't some one neck it to 7mm and lathe down the rim and groove it as well?
