Default Critical Alert - Possible Tornado - june 17/13

Doppler radar is tracking a rotating severe thunderstorm 20 km S of Standard and moving east at 40 km/hr. This dangerous storm is likely producing very large hail and may produce a tornado over the next 30 minutes. The community of Hussar is in the path of this storm.

The corner of that storm went through my neighborhood about an hour and a half ago. Rained like mad then I went out to blue skies and watched the monster head east.

I don't know that I've ever seen a thunder storm (on the radar) move the way that one is/was... Was heading straight for Drumheller, and makes a slight u-turn and starts heading towards Brooks. Crazy.

Doppler radar is tracking a rotating severe thunderstorm 15 km north west of Gem, moving southeast at 25 km/hr. The community of Gem and the Crawling Valley Reservoir are in the path of this storm. This dangerous storm is likely producing very large hail and may produce a tornado over the next 30 minutes.
