For pike, walleye, perch etc: Bear lake is small enough for an inflatable.

For trout: Kinky/Wildhhorse west of Hinton and Obed (Obed has big browns but are very picky)

Default another

there's also Dandurand. It's a small pond on the North side of the hwy just before you get to the hill at the Millers turn off. In the summer you usually see rv's parked around the lake.

Never been there myself.

Before I moved away from Alberta I used to fish Miller, it was awesome and I was catching 5+ lbs rainbows it was so much! Caught one big Brown there too.

I have not been there since I returned but I heard that there was a big winter kills a few years ago.

Does anyone know if it's worth taking the drive to fish there now? Thanks

Yes Millers did winterkill a few years ago but they re-stocked it and changed the aerator. I saw some nice rainbows come out of there last ice season but I had no luck myself. Did not fish it open water this season.
