Default Wabamun

Wabamun was hot ! Could not keep them off the hook when trolling .
With in 2 hrs I had 18 pike between 8 and 18 lbs.
The boat launch was like a zoo. Had one fella drive past ever one in the line up and just bud ahead and launched his boat.

I was out for the first time but had no clue how deep or where to go.
I started along the east to se side trolling in 10-12 but only had 5 hits
The only fish landed was just west of the town.
Hopefully next time I will not have my kids there so I can spend more time looking for spots.

I wanted to stay on that side due to my kids and wife wanting to spend some time at the beach as well.
How are the west side launches?

Seba beach launch is ok for smaller boats only. It needs to be dredged out. less than 2 ft of water across a shallow bar 30 feet out from the dock.

Be careful there as it goes from deep to shallow.
