We (myself, Jack&7 + friends) were there and left no rib un-gnawed. I guess we should have brought some elk sheds and a mounted pickerel as table displays to mark our dominion as one that is friendly to fellow outdoors-folk.

Ok...Ok...

I take full responsibility for not specifying a date. Caber and I did smash down a bazillion ribs and we had a moment of silence for all the little baby piggys that donated their ribs to be slathered in such delicious sauces.

I am still full today.

Anywhoo...to make up for all the confusion, I planned to buy each AO member who attended a beer. I guess it was a cheap night

50 ribs and two beer-skis later...I went home.

So maybe we can plan another one with plenty of notice:Oct. 9th

and even make it more central: The Hose and Hound in Inglewood? 1030 9 ave SE....Probably some of the best wings I have ever had...seriously.

But....we would have to have guys confirm in advance so we can reserve a big table as it gets pretty busy there on wing night.

Sound good?????

And apologies for not making it out with you guys this Wednesday. I ended up having to help my son with an attempted shotgun purchase that went sideways (I'll spare you the details).

I will check my schedule in the morning, and report back.

Cheers,

Mac

I planned on going to this last one. I came home from volunteering at the fly fishing nationals and was dead tired. Laid down for a short nap before going and that was that!

I have every intention of going to this next one.

Looking forward to seeing all fellow AOF members next week @ The Hose and Hound in Inglewood. What time are you reserving the table for Jack&7?

I'd love to pop by with #1 son (it is his 20th bday on the 9th) for a quick brew (just very quick, as not to cramp your guys' style!). I'll have to find out what his schedule is like.

Well if DA is showing up, I may have to stumble over! To keep cabertosser in line of course.

The both of you could easily stagger over from your offices.

How silly is it that AD and I work a short block apart, and have never met face to face?

I'll have to see what #1 son's schedule is like. Depending on his schedule, I may stick close to home so I can take him for a quick brew when he's done work.

Dunno...I am not even sure if I CAN reserve a table. But I will see if I can pull some strings.

Stay tuned.

And the wings in a mole sauce are frickin' dynamite!

Well Gib, if you claim they have 'em, it might just take this Ukrainian's "Seal of Two Thumbs Up Approval" or the "Two Seals with Thumbed Up Approval" or the "The Two Approved Thumbs Up the Seal" to genuinely certify them as exceptional.

I may know a thing or two 'bout perogies...

Table reserved for 10 at 6:30 pm at the Hose & Hound

I imagine we can squeeze in more if we need, but I will be there after work.

See you boys there!

Default The Guest List so far....

There are a lot of 'maybes'...

But from what I can gather so far, the following have stated they will attend:

Jack&7 (me)
Cabertosser
Kazdog
Juggernaut
Kevinhits
Gringo
Gust

If we get more than 10, we will just take over!

I order mine without the sausage on the side, and extra bacon and grated cheddar cheese melted on top. Also served with toast. A great place to have business lunch, as it's close to downtown.

Wish I would be there, but I will be stateside.

I won't make it. #1 son is working, so I'll be taking him out for a pint close to home when he gets off work.

If caber wears his leathers, and Jack&7 wears the wig and shoulder pads, I just may be convinced to go.
