Default Martin Motor Sports..two thumbs down....Wabamun !

Two thumbs down for Martin Motor Sports.
Got to the lake and lunched early to avoid other boaters at the launch.
Returned to the main boat launch in town around 10:00 am to find out the staff at Martin Motor Sports decided to launch their boats and leave their two company trucks locked on the ramp and the trailers in the water blocking the ramps as they were driving around in the middle of the lake ! Finally one did come in and they only moved one truck.
This is bad ethics.
They lost me as a customer .

I was there and one unit had to be sitting at the launch unattended for a least half an hour. Could not take pictures but got license numbers and will notify Martin Motor Sports. when we left there were 2 guys waiting to launch but could not.

Maybe if one of those trailers would have come unhooked and wound up a bit further into the lake someone would get the idea about how to launch then park the truck and trailer in the lot not on the ramp.

These employes have a dream job testing new boats, and this is what they do.
There is only one thing the company needs to do......

I'm sorry to hear that. That's definitely not right. I actually just bought a used boat from Martin Motors in Calgary, and the staff there was unbelievable. Even though it wasn't a brand new boat, we still had great service. I would definitely contact Martin Motors and find out who the staff were, and what the deal was. I would presume that they don't want those type of ppl working and representing them.

Not a company problem, but a people problem!
Have had similar problems when bird hunting. One space to launch a small boat and guys will unload and go hunting for the day...........people are f...ked in the head these days, whatever works for them, screw everyone else! If i would have done something like that when i was young i would have got my ass kicked...and rightfully so. Just a sign of the times, i suppose we just deal with it or stay on the couch........

That has to be entered into the solid gold list of epic moron moves.

There are only two explanations .....

A) They are self center and narcissistic and don't give a crap about anyone else but themselves.

B) They are intellectually incapable of basic human reasoning and mentally deficient.

Default Our Apologies

On behalf of Martin Motor Sports, we sincerely apologize for the actions of the employees involved at the boat launch. As a company, we specifically instruct our employees not to leave a truck on the launch for any reason what so ever. It is disrespectful to our fellow boaters, Clients and the Town of Wabamum. Martin Motor Sports does not condone the actions of the employees involved. Those employees will be reprimanded accordingly for their actions. We are sorry and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone. This will be addressed with all employees and brought to the entire staff's attention.
