Default Half Moon Lake

Heard there is a half moon lake up my Torhill /Opel.
Any one fish it this year.Is it a clean lake and is it still good fishing.
Would like some directions to the lake as I can not find any .

He is refering to a different yet same named Half Moon Lake....and I have no Idea about the fishing there... I have been told it holds quite a few perch

the lake is decent..ya there used to be alot of perch but im not to sure about anymore. still some decent pike in there. but youll definatly catch a few small ones before you get anything half decent. just have to watch out on the east and west side where all the weeds are..it gets very shallow over there from what i have heard.

You may not be able to find directions because it's by Thorhild and Opal. I haven't fished there for a few years but the pike were biting like crazy when I was there. As for perch sounds like there is still some in there but tough to find, if you cant find directions to the lake I can give them to you, it's probably a 45 min drive from N Edmonton.

Heard they have a realy good deep boat launch,does it have a pier also

Boat launch is decent. There is a dock but you can't tie up to it there is a sandy area in which to beach boats but when it's busy is first come first serve as there is only room for maybe 4-5 boats.
