Where are some places within 2.5 hours of Calgary that you can camp and fish? Thanks

thats too broad a question for me

it depends what what you have in mind

ok ill try:
get a copy of "Alberta Fishing Guide" from C Tire or Mowhawk then drive west till you hit the forestry trunk road. Go north or south and start exploring.

2 recommendations:
Abraham Lake and area (its getting farther out but worth it)
Sheep River Drainage upstream from Black Diamond


Make sure you bring, camera, and someone to enjoy it with.

Beauvais Lake down by Pincher Creek is a nice little lake...camping there too.

Morin Bridge near Drumheller for Goldeye,, nice badlands to look at too. Used to be a gorgeous spot to pitch tent and sleep on the shore waiting for the bell to ring.
