Default I hate those big hatches on th crow....

Hiked into a favouritse hole of mine. 2k hike or so.... To find that the neoprene hatch was in full swing. Dang!

Same thing at two other spots.... All before 11am.

Must be spring.

I was out there yesterday and we didn't see another fisherman on both the crow and oldman. I did see 3 guys gearing up by the bluff but no one on the water.

I can't wait for next weekend when I can get back out there and get into some bows.

I know but everyone needs a fish after a long winter. Had the bow to myself this morning, fished for one hour landed 7 fish. 3 whites 4 bows. C'mon spring!

Default got no better elsewhere.....

So I just got back. Figgured I'd alvage the day and hit the old man.
I drive into a patch that this family only gives me and a few others access to.
I pack the kids on my back... cross the river... and.....

DANGNABIT!!! More neoprene in a place that I have never seen anyone before!!

They scared all the dang deer, geese and ducks away!

We only caught one, 19 inches of big bow, lost 5. They kept breaking off the 5x tippet.

Lots of flyfishers out there trying to shake off the shacknasties!
Whats a guy gotta do to get some of their own water thee days...?

Used to be this time of year was the only time you would get any solitude out there. I'd just think of your fellow fisherman and give up and stay home, leaves more water for the rest of us. Spring/summer is on the way, it only gets busier from here on out.
