Butcher Shop north end of Calgary

I used to take my lambs to The Mad Butcher in Innisfail, well I won't be able to do that for a while.

Does anyone know of a butcher shop that slaughters and butchers lamb on the north end of Calgary?

Try Horizon Meats in Sunridge. Don't know for sure if he'll do your lambs but they do wild game. Might be worth a shot.

Try Noel at Ryans Meats. He's a good guy, avid hunter, etc.

None of the shops mentioned do the slaughter, you will have to do that on your own and just take the skinned and cleaned animal in. Take a live one to your local butcher and you will likely get chased down the street with a cleaver..lol. Pure country meats in Strathmore or Red deer meats south of Calgary are the only ones in the area that does A-Z processing. There may be more, but these are the only ones I know of around Calgary.
