Need help from other hunting dog owners please

Hi I just got my first hunting dog a German Shorthair pointer. I am wondering if any of you know of a place where I can sign up for training? And what a local (Calgary) club is?

I want to train him for retrieval ....will be mainly hunting pheasant and duck.

There is a local NAVHA called the wild rose club just goggle them up.....puphood

The Calgary pointing dog club fall trial is this weekend.
If your interested pm me and I will give you the location, lots of people from both organizations and a variety of breeds will be there.
