Default Hiway 855 North of smoky

How far North is this road paved?
Can I get through all the way to Atmore at 63 or does it turn to gravel at North Buck?
I'm pulling a tri axle trailer, don't mind the mud and gravel for a bit.
Anyone know?

the road is paved from smoky lake untill highway 663 if you keep going north it is gravel but you cant go anywhere to the north eventually you have to turn west and it hits highway 63 near the turn off to athabasca. It is way faster to either drive to boyle and hit 63 there or go to lac la biche.

It's paved to Buffalo Lake. when you get to hwy 663 turn right and go to the Plamondon sign then go north. If you go straight through when you reach 663 the road has lots of twists and turns. I think there is about 10 miles of gravel and it's good road either way.

I've driven it lots and if you go straight and follow the signs it comes out where 63 meets 55 just east of Atmore, but like I said before there is lots of corners snd you have to watch the signs.

Default 855 North

Thanks guys, I have to get just slightly North of N Buck lake and Missawawi.
About 8km south of Atmore.
I'm going to see how many Km's I can slice off the trip.
Hopefully it's alittle drier than Sunday and the back roading is limited.

On another note, I am making a few trips from the Sherwood Park area and could deliver anything that would fit on a tri axle equipment trailer. I can only take that direction as I will have full load comming home.
Pm if you are looking for delivery.
