Default Animal cruelty case... What a joke

Take a read about this.. What an awful outcome to a disgusting case. I have had a discussion about this with one of the parties involved, and I am absolutely disappointed with the justice system today.

Default well

Looks like the prosecution may have mis-handled the case.

The burden of proof is a necessity.

No kidding. Why on earth would one need (or even want) 100 dogs? I can understand one (I am really a dog person, in an apartment-dweller's body) or even a few...but a hundred!!?? How could 1 person possibly take adequate care of all those animals?

I wonder if it wasn't that a hundred other people didn't want thier dogs, and this woman found herself overwhelmed trying to help?

There is no way 1 person can even halfway take care of 100 dogs even if it was their full time job.

So called soft hearted do gooders with good intentions fail to see the harm they inflict on creatures , with actions driven from emmotions . Emmotions are a poor guideline for constructive results. That being said I would also be concerned of the fact that many of the northern most settlement areas are plagued with malnurished animals because of obvious problems ,I know this is no excuse , but I beleive anyone who has been in places like this is aware of what I,m talking about. My daughter is fostering two very small children , one of which had fingernails falling off from malnutrition, and a fear of any male . The sad part is they will go back because of political correctness, and likely will fall back into this type of living and eventually disappear into the piles of beaurocratic paperwork called government and die without an obituary. So will the dogs in these situations .One must remain cognisant of their limits SAD.
