Default Gun Dog forum?

A request for the Admins/Mods of AO.

Any chance we could get a forum for gun dogs? Alot of us have gun dogs and it would be great to have a section devoted to them. Feeding, care and training are just some of the topics that are discussed on the general and hunting forums/sections. It would be helpful to have all these topics in one place.

Thanks
Evil

That could be great! Might need to be some guidelines as to what defines a gun dog, but I like the idea.

But that leaves out the rabbit hunting dogs, the cougar hounds, ect.
Although i agree it would be nice.
Mods have said before that they are leaving the forum as is...
So ibtl.

I think if you have a dog that hunts, period. Doesn't matter what it hunts.

Default Only pointing dogs

I belong to a couple of gun dog forums , versatile dogs , continental
Breeds , retrievers .
A general dog forum is a recipe for disaster . My .04 cents

Hunting Dogs and horses in the same forum?
I know I'd learn a lot from both.

Smile This is a very good idea.

I get a lot of emails from new doggy people, any kind of dog they are training. It would be great if others who are interested could see the discussion.

The questions I have had concern, breeding, training, hunting, health and source of puppies.
