Any wrestling fans here ?? Top 3 matches of all time.
Anybody watch wrestling anymore?? I don't want much these days, but watched Saturday afternoons as a kid with my dad (90's mostly), back when it was still the WWF.
Ill give my favorite 3 matches;
1. Undertaker vs Kane - Wrestlemania 14; 3 tombstones to keep the big man down. A classic.
2. Undertaker vs Mankind - Hell in a Cell; anyone who seen this match will know what i'm talking about.
3. Brett Hart vs Shawn Michaels - Montreal "The Screwjob." Real life controversy ?? I think Vince got a punch to the face from Brett for this one (and his last match with the WWF).
Pretty much anything from the attitude era - stone cold, undertaker, the rock, brett hart, dx, hhh, shawn michaels, kane, etc.
Nostalgic.

I never watched much wrestling growing up, too fake. But then I started working at the Halifax Civic Center setting up for different events. Hide the ice and go from there.
I helped set up when the WWF came to town, back in the days of yokozuna and undertaker. The ring itself is impressive. Steel beams covered in plywood and very little insulation - with a car spring supporting it for that little bit of give.
Made me wonder how the heck these guys never got hurt more often.

I can't recall the year of it, but it was when Goldberg took on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

NJPW - Dynamite Kid vs. Tiger Mask (05.08.1982)
Classic match
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCkACTKLbto
Dynamite Kid was clearly a master wrestler who paved the way for many others including Chris Benoit, Brett Hart, Davey Boy Smith just to name a few. Best wrestler of all time.

When I was a kid JR Foley's crew were the "bad guys" - the Karachi Vice, Honky Tonk Man, The Cuban Assassin, The Claw Guy (forget his name).
Then the British Bulldogs, Dynamite Kid, Bruce Hart, Keith Hart and then later Brett joined in.
Ah yes - those were the good old days jumping up and down screaming at the TV in the living room every weekend !!!!! Then kicking the crap out of each other the next few hours after watching wrestling until someone busted a lip on the coffee table.

Brett Hart vs Shawn Micheals. Not sure of the year or match but it was an hour long and really showcased these two guys' talents. I don't even remember who won but the match was an amazing display of stamina.
