Default Jet boats

Who on here runs river jet boats ? What do you run for a boat and why?
I run a 21 foot with a 5.7 litre engine and a hami 212 pump 12deg. hull
I run all lakes big and small (where legal ) And med. to big rivers .Some times I wish it where smaller but the room is sweet.

18 ft. Marathon 120 lite .
gets me where I want to go, is light enough that it can be muscled around, and more than enough room for two guys and gear and a dog or two!.

Whenever you're around Edmonton, drop me a line. It would be my pleasure to take you for a cruise and of course, a little fishing!!

I run a 18 foot Hewes Craft with a 175 sportjet. Light, Fast, skinny water runner and a super great floor plan. Hewes Craft 18 footers by far have the most room out of any 18 footer !!!

I'm more inclined to the smaller, flatter adventure line. I have a 16 ft. Firefish Frenzy with a 200 HP Merc Sportjet. It does make you wonder occasionally how miserable life would be if it failed somewhere remote.

Smaller can be more fun occasionally

On my 3 rd Jet boat, started off with a 1875 Harbercraft with a240 sport jet - used it for everything - great boat, went to an 08 22 ft Thunderjet Rio Classic with a 350 & Hamilton 212 - real nice boat - just 2 big for where I wanted to run 70 % of the time.

Now have a Harbercraft 1775 xtreme Duty with a 200 Opti Sportjet - 4 wheel drive of boats & great on fuel.

Bought a new Campion 602 B explorer for the big water, now I'm covered-or so I told the wife

16ft Outlaw Lynx with a 240SJ, small and agile for running those pesky little rivers the elk like to hang out on but big enough to still take the family out.

Holy Bear Huntin' Barges there Gunslinger.....that's as big as the Queen Mary.....what a load!! You could put my boat in the front of that thing and take it out when you get a little closer to the headwaters of whatever river you're on!
