Talking "Little BIGLY Man"...

Well...Macleod double-dared me to post this, so here it is. Funniest thing I've seen about der Drumpf in the last 24 hours or so. And that is saying something...

Incredibly insensitive and mean spirited towards little people. Being small statured is not something to laugh at. Let's not forget to laugh at blind people or people in wheelchairs either. Just because Obama makes fun of people in the Special Olympics does not make it acceptable to humiliate people who are differently abled.

Not cool. Both Molly and MacLeod, I have a lot of respect for both of you. You guys are better than that.

I hope the sarcasm is not lost on everybody, as ridiculous as it is.

Default I have a question.

All this stuff about an election that is over with is weird in its self but I see very little about the Russians or any one else for that matter interfering in their election. I personally don't care who they elect to govern themselves, as my Dad used to say "we get the government we deserve"

But even the suspicion that a foreign government would try to manipulate their election, I thought would have them moving Heaven and Hell to get to the bottom of it, but there has been almost no reaction. Very strange.

Why would a moderator close this this - unless you are insinuating that threads get closed for no reason?

Of course we only hear what the US government releases to the media, a lot could be going on that we don't know about. The CBC did their best to influence our federal election, but that didn't get a lot of attention in Canada. Soros may have even tried to influence the election, but we will never know one way or the other.

I doubt that Trump cares that some Canadians on an outdoor forum are laughing at him. He is probably laughing at us, because we elected such a fool to run our country.

You're missing the sarcasm. We do have some snowflakes on here. They complain and get threads deleted. The ones that go the fastest are usually about terrorism and its perpetrators. Second level of deletions come from criticism of our "provincial" govt. Third level of deletions comes from criticisms of our immigration policies. Fourth level of deletions comes from criticism of our welfare class. And of course, the fifth level of deletions comes from any criticism of the problems with how native/govt relations are handled.

OR.......the cabal of fringe left/liberal/socialist cherished contradictory SJW victimhood causes getting criticised "triggers" them to report posts. And the whineing gets them exactly what they want.....No Challenge.

Close but not quite ,that is only your perception .
It has s but more to do that people simply complaining .
There are legitimate reasons and complaints and just as many complaints generated to simply get a thread it post deleted for no reason or a supposed
Reason

Would be interesting have an on going thread listing the total thread complaints by member. And which threads they complained about.

Might show who on here is exercising a censorship agenda.....vs an AO.

But I'm sure that thread would get lots of complaints...

There are people that do not have a particular agenda but there are also people who figure everything they do not like is fuelled by some sort of agenda or conspirecy .
As far as keeping track of deleted threads that would have no purpose as far as the forum goes .

The fact remains that some legitimate points of discussion are deemed offensive. There is a real problem looming on the horizon and we are not allowed to discuss it. The real world is not a place for sensitive feelings, neither should this forum be.

See what Thomas Paine has to say about this below.

That said, I enjoy all the subjects brought up, particularly the firearms discussions. Some real knowledgeable people here.

Thomas Paine does not own this site nor did he make the rules on this site .
There are lots of web forums out here I am sure where people can discuss, argue, and otherwise rant about whatever they want to and use whatever language they want to.
Facebook cones to mind......

Even Facebook censors..

My point is that ideas and discussions are offensive solely in the eye of the offended. I realize this is a private forum and everything is subject to a degree of censorship, but in general censorship itself is biased. I do not know if the bias is because of complaints or because of personal feelings.

Everyone has an agenda. Otherwise you don't get out of bed.

Want to retire.....that's an agenda.
Want to pay off your mortgage....that's an agenda.
Post pics of your success and share......that's an agenda for your own reasons.

No agenda..no movement.

As for keeping track....it may actually show who has a particular agenda on here that may be more to destroy this forum than to be a AO member. We see what happens when the anti crowd targets people, or the Lugenpress concept.....to think they don't sign on here to attempt censorship/control is naive.

Maybe it's just my impression, but the number of threads getting deleted seems to be increasing.....

Ya know what?
If someone does not like it, if they feel their rights are being infringed upon , if they feel they are being treated unfairly, they don't have to post here or even surf this site . Pretty simple really
Those that continually push the envelope of the forums rules or outright break them just to cause trouble get dealt with in as unbiased a way possible .
If we didn't have rules this place would not be worth even looking at

IMHO...face book don't censor too friggen much.
Kids are able to share secretive xplicit photos that has caused many a victim to be bullied to no end...caused family and social problems between classmates and what were life long friends at one time !!
Cripes....some teens have even tried to end their lives because of non censorship !!
You can use every cuss word known to man on FB, all you have to do is cruise around . You won't have to go verrry far...it's right there on the screen for all to see.

This mini Trump thing is pretty tame and lame in MY books...pretty funny too ! Thanks Cat !!

Get off the cat's tail here boys ....

Those complaining about agendas or censorship are welcomed to try and moderate a forum themselves - the old saying comes to mind "walk a mile in someone else's shoes".

They can also start their own forum, and have their own agenda .... allow what you want, censor what you don't.

I'd say as long as there are reasonably civil discussions, even those that may walk dangerously close to the lines and rules of the forum, let it play out. Some of these discussions can be stimulating and thought provoking. Just play nice.

However, If someone wants to push the line too often, or worse yet, clearly cross the line, then it needs to get corrected.

Pretty straight forward in my eyes.

Which was the whole idea of the original post I think.
The page itself? That is another story!
