Default Anyone using the primos Kiyi call?

I can make the sound of jackrabbit, fawn distress and cotton tail etc... I just can't make the injured coyote sound. Anyone else have the problem?

Iv watched the Randy Anderson vids but can't seem to imitate the injured coyote. Maybe I have a bad call?

Default Yep. send it back

Hi: I have dealt with primos regarding a deer call. Called them up, told them the problem. I sent it back, they fixed it and sent a new one with it.

Use your teeth a bit and rake them, it takes practice, if it works for the rest then its likely you

I found the ki yi to be the most dificult to do a kiyi on haha. I like the hot dog /little dog combo better for that but thats just me. Like stated before use your teeth and rake back. the key is to practice and dont be discuraged when you cant call like randy anderson.

I have it but haven't used it in the field yet, but I can get some really quality ki-yi yelps with it. You're removing the mouth peice and just using the reed correct?

Yes I am. Exactly like in the video. I'm gonna exchange it for a new one. I just can't make it happen.

Love the hot dog/ little dog combo. I use the kiyi for magpie sounds.

I have a bunch of calls, many brands and types, but I think my favorite one is the sceery predator call, very crisp clear sound, lots of volume, and super easy to use, I played the national anthem on it and my wife started laughing, but then she admitted it was pretty good, so if a tone deaf redneck can play tunes on it, it's pretty easy to get whatever sound you're looking for.

I use elk reeds to make all the needed coyote noises.
