haha i dont know if id go that far man. These guys could all be drunk engineering students on a houseboating trip on spring break for all you know when someone dared the guy to bite a raw fish or something. Its hardly a big deal, and assumptions like "skuzzy little puke" from a quick video are pretty harsh. Just some drunk young guys having a good ttime. Doesnt mean they are bad people in general.

Now, I had to watch that with sound this time.. I'm not sure if I retract my statement or not. they say "they found it" they don't say if it was dead in the lake or not. who's saying they didn't catch it but, if the fish where dead and floating.. I hope he got fish herpes or something

i think if they "caught" it they probably would have said so, I don't know anyone that would use the term "found" if they had caught it fishing...it was probably a bad catch and release from someone else and the fish was floating/swimming upside-down on the surface - that would be my guess. The question would be was it illegal to "possess" that fish? If the fish had any life left in it, was killing the fish putting it out of it's misery? Would it have been more torture to the fish to be picked up by an eagle and carried off to a more gruesome death? I have no answers to any of these questions, but I am guessing nothing they did would have landed them in any serious trouble as far as the law is concerned. They threw the fish back. Obviously they were being idiots - which I have also been a fair share of the time I have had a bit to much to drink. Moral of the story - don't watch video's like that if they are going to make you upset...

Whoa, Now.. I said it upset me before I watched the video having the sound off. But after I watched it anyone could have made that mistake. But, for you to go this long on this and not letting up even after I retracted my statement makes me sad  ... It was a post about someone biting the head off a fish and I never realized it could have / was dead.. Either or, it's to small.. technically they picked it up and kept it.. now, if I were in a boat and caught that fish and in this lake you have to release it even if it dies, then they where poaching by brining it aboard and biting it's head off. same as eating it
