Default 220 pound sturgeon!!!!

Hello Fellas....time to pack up and head to Chilliwack BC for some sturgeon fishing...

Best wife ever...best start to the honeymoon...

Its been on my bucket list to catch a sturgeon, so we decided to head out further west and give a shot. Contacted Matthew Clive at Great River Fishing Adventures based out of BC. He was able to answer all our questions and inquiries and helped us pick the right adventure. Great customer service! They set up hotels and lunch on the water for us. We met up with Dave the day of and got the adventure started right away. We decided to take a challenge and go to the Upper Canyon of the Fraser River where only a few guides will take you. Within 25 mins of set up we hooked the big one. It took an hour and a half to reel this monster in, it jumped a few times and finally started to give up. Got it to the boat and pulled anchor to float to the beach about a km away where we measured, check the tag and got photos!

7FT 3IN, 220lb sturgeon!

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE and a HUGE thanks to Dave and GREAT RIVER FISHING ADVENTURES! Can't wait to do it again.

Way to go man!!! That's a beauty sturgeon. You may want to edit your post to read "2nd best day of my life" in case the wife sees it.

Just one fish that big would be worth every penny of the trip, for sure congratulations on both your marriage and the fish!
