Looks like a true Canadian arctic expedition! Impressed with the way members get together as a true "community", online and the real world!

Just got home from the weekened. I don't blame anyone for not coming out with the weather conditions out there. The roads were nasty on the way home this morning.

We did get a glimpse of the sun yesterday. So it wasn't all bad.

No that isn't an average size of laker up there. In fact that was probably the largest one caught. The average size would have to be half that. Some guys were getting one's that were 8 inches long. No kidding the little buggers were biting. Oh well at least there is a healthy population of them.

The biggest laker of my life...and the most unique "hook placement" as well

Thanks for a great day everyone. Next time let's go somewhere with some big Pike!

It definitely was a strange way to hook a fish. I do not remember you leaving the tent to get a picture.

Ahh yes. Well I have an announcement to make to all my "friends" I am no longer the holder of the pink rod. Due to someone not having a rod I have passed the torch on so to speak. Mr Tony needed a rod so I gave him one, he then wanted a second rod. And with no coercing form my end he went and grabbed the pink rod of his own free will.

Now the idea with the pink rod is IF you use it it then becomes YOURS. It is now up to Mr Tony to hold the title of the pink rod of shame as I have done for the past two seasons. Let me tell you I will bust the aerial off the car and use it before I ever touch that thing again. I am sure Tony will find some one who is in need of a rod one day and willing to make a deal for there very man hood to get it. But it will not be me... Lets see a nice pic of you with your rod Tony..

Had a great time with good friends Thank you all.
