Default Class 3 Road Test Rental - Edmonton

Anyone know of a place that rents a class 3 truck for testing purposes in or around Edmonton. I have access to a few single axles but no tandems which I assume is needed. Already have my Q and knowledge test completed.

Thanks

Bumping an old thread.

Managed to find a tandum to do the class 3 road test, but every registry office I called said they don't do class 3 and advice me to call a driving school.

Driving schools won't let me do a road test with them unless I take a minimum of 10 hours class at $120/hr plus exam fee.

Can't justify taking time off and spending that much just to do a road test. Anyone know of any place that offers class 3 Road Test in Edmonton?

You know what they say about truck drivers?
" you can tell a truck driver but you can't tell them much"

Did you try Gennaro in the west end? There are hoops to jump through for sure but it's the govt that sets the rules.

Cameron was excellent for me. Trucks are very nice and instructors are knowledgeable. I did my test with a trailer-less tractor, not a tandem axle dump truck.

I did my air brakes with them last year. Will give them a call in the morning.

And passed my class 3. Only points I lost were because of going too slow. Never driven a mac truck before and was a completely different beast than what I am used to.

Thanks for the advice and messages.
