Thats looking at the glass half full. I look at it from the other perspective and think they are playing to the best of their ability and they are just simply that bad. Either way I am thoroughly enjoying this hockey season.

I was given 2 tickets for today's game at 2 pm but was just called into work. They are in the lower bowl section 109. I would like to give these tickets to a fellow outdoorsmen with a son or daughter who has never been to game. The only fee is you send me a photo of you having a great time so I can pass it onto the ticket holder.

Even if they did, that wouldn't help much, as both teams are ahead of the Oilers fighting for that 8th spot. Now, what really would help, is if Calgary wins, so, we probably won't. Gonna make you guys earn it.

What has to happen is that the teams in the Wild Card spots right now can't win. If the Hawks win they don't move the Wild Card bar and that is all that is important right now. Jumping the Hawks in the standings is secondary to the Wild Card total not moving.

Oilers now losing to the team with the worse record in the NHL. They don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see the team do well but at this stage of their season their play doesn't reflect a playoff worthy team, it is what it is.

I would put Lucic on waivers , he would probably clear, then he could spent the rest of the year in the minors and if he didn't come back next year with a better out look he could play in the minors again, just taking up space

no movement clause. Only 4 more years!
Canucks should trade Erikson for Lucic. Couldn't hurt!

Actually never mind. Eriksson has one less year and has 27 points this year. Both bad deals though!

Yikes. Loose to the worst place team . Goalie glove hand not worth the 4.5 mill they are paying him . Remarks from upper management slandering players. What next. Its a mess for sure. The only thing worse us Melnyiuk from the Senators making fake tweet accounts. UGH!

Just caught a clip on GLOBAL that had Hitchcock has 2 yrs left on his contract not necessarily as a coach but in some capacity with the Oilers. He said this Oiler experience has been this BEST experience as a Coach. He said he's never been in market that has their hockey team as #1 and he loves coming to the rink due to support.
PSA, I don't think Hitch would want to comeback IMHO

If I can find a "clip" of the interview I'll post it

I heard him say the same things on the radio. He’ll be back in the fall and I bet as coach.
