Default Bear Baiting partner in Fort Mac

Hello everyone,

With bear hunting season only roughly 85 days away, you can say i'm getting a little excited for the snow to melt and get out into the bush. I've already started collecting grease and what not. I used to live in Beaumont so I baited with my family just a couple hours west of Edmonton and have serveral years experience baiting. I moved up to the mac for work and am looking for a partner to bait with up here. I've got an idea on where a few good spots may be. If your looking to get into bear hunting or want someone to hunt with send me a pm. One of my buddies from up here backed out.

I've personally only shot one bear but have been baiting 9 years. I've brought a lot of people out and got them on bears. I always hold out for the big boys but can never seem to get them in daylight. Personally I find baiting them just as fun as hunting them. I hear wherever you go up here theres lots of baits. I'm hoping to find a secluded area. I'll have lots of time to hunt being on a new shift now. I cant wait to get out

I used to guide for bow hunting bear north of the MacKay River north of Fort Mac [Also where I grew up school years]
Even up to just a couple years ago and there certainly was no shortage of big bears there...some of the nicest colored also...
Wish ya the best...

lol tower roads a gong show. We have main line block valves up there and you should see the crap we find on our right aways when I'm in a helicopter. There's a boat on the one in the middle of nowhere. You lose count of burned vehicles.

Also I'm having trouble getting my hands on some 55 gallon barrels that don't have oil and what not in them. Anyone know where a guy could look. I know its early but I wanna have everything ready come baiting time.
