Default pigeon or gull?

going to Red Deer next weekend and want to go to gull or pigeon, with a buddy. is there any reports anyone can help us out with? (ice thickness... can we drive. is it slow?) this is our first hard water trip out this year, and we have never been to either of these lakes yet. pike and walleye would be our main target..... thx in advance for any help!!!!

or would a drive up to wabamun be worth the travel?

being a nice day, try checkin out gull at the brownlows. it mite be a good day out there for that
