Default Trapping, what a life!

I was able to spend 1 week with a fellow who has become a good friend, he has a line a ways from GP. It was about the greatest week of my 53 yrs., the country, the fresh air, comradery, cell phone didn't work, it truly was an experience. My wife and I are outdoor enthusiasts, hunting, fishing and hiking. Unfortunately she was unable to come that week. But we are both registered for the trapper's course at DeBolt in mid-May. The excitement is building already. This year our goal is to take some courses, get our paperwork in order, get some experience and eventually start shopping for a line. We are unable to attend in Sundre this year, but are active in our F&G Assoc. and expect to enjoy the ATA.
You guys got it good!
Doug

Default New trapper

Welcome to the fold Doug, you will not regret it. Your best bet to get a line is become a junior partner on a line first. This way when applying for a line you can show the CO that you do indeed trap.
